We are pleased to announce our partnership with Theodore D. Young Community Center to launch an exciting Grassroots program at Yosemite Park. This initiative is designed to provide children in the community with the opportunity to learn and enjoy soccer in a safe, fun, and educational environment.
Our goal is to foster both athletic and personal development, promoting values such as teamwork, discipline, and a passion for the sport. Welcome to S3A - StartSmart+StartRight!
As a soccer coach, I’m thrilled to introduce you to this program, designed for players who have previously participated in our programs or for newcomers interested in joining. Our main objective is to ensure that each player has a fun and enjoyable experience while learning, sharing, and mastering essential soccer skills.
For our Grassroots program, which caters to children aged 11 to 14 years old, we continue to follow the StartSmart+StartRight=StartPlayingSmartSoccerRight (SPSSR) philosophy.
As players progress, we gradually increase the intensity and difficulty of exercises based on ongoing evaluations conducted throughout the program. These evaluations are performed by our head coach, who meticulously plans and analyzes each session’s workout to tailor the training to each player's needs.
This systematic approach guarantees that our players are consistently challenged and advancing according to their abilities, enabling them to develop their skills effectively and reach their full potential.
FREE S3A SUPER LEAGUE - EVERYONE IS A PLAYER
The S3A Super League is more than just football—it's a family experience. It brings together kids aged 5 to 14 to play, learn, and compete under the guidance of certified coaches. The league focuses on skill development, teamwork, and personal growth. Competition is fun and rewarding, emphasizing values like friendship, respect, and teamwork. The league is free, not mandatory, but highly recommended. It's a great opportunity for every child to grow both as a footballer and a person. Join us every Saturday for a celebration of sport!
